Garden Coaching Session

Our Garden Coach service is ideal for the gardener who enjoys working independently and learning through trial and error, but also welcomes the insights and knowledge of an experienced peer to improve their plant health, natural soil fertility, and boost harvest.

Are you a first time farmer who is eager to start growing their own food, but unsure about where to begin?

Do you live in a tiny LA studio with limited outdoor space, but still wants to find a way to grow your own food at home?

Are you an experienced gardener with proven success in growing outdoor ornamentals, indoor plants, or award winning roses, but not sure how to begin growing edibles?

Are you an experienced urban farmer whose harvest depends on the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, AND you'd like to transition to organic, earth friendly farming practices?

Look no further. Sacred Earth Farms can save you time in navigating the path to sustainable regenerative urban agriculture, right in your own back yard, apartment balcony, or patio.

Invite an experienced Urban Farmer to coach you through gardening uncertainty, start-up questions, or recurring problems that seem to come back every season no matter what you do.

Delivered to you: 1-2 hour minimum session. You complete a Needs Assessment Questionnaire to describe your garden issues, questions and concerns. An Urban Farmer contacts you to schedule an appointment for a site visit and consultation. The session may include one or more of the following:

• Q & A discussion.
• Hands-on demonstration, and/or a mini-collaborative work session to model pertinent techniques and best practices.
• Guided-practice and corrective feedback.
• A list of resources and links to pertinent videos, articles, and/or helpful gardening products and supplies. 
• Topics can include, but not limited to, soil health and fertility, seeding and transplanted for success, irrigation, organic pest management, companion planting, seasonal crop selection, custom plant palette, building and install garden structures, like trellis, raised beds, compost bins, worm bins, mini hoop tunnel, or drip irrigation system.

Garden Coach Hourly Fee: $60/hour

Garden Coach Bundle: 15% discount when 4 or more hours are paid in advance.
