Farm Solutions Consultation

This 2-hour Farm Solutions Consultation is for you if you already have a raised bed and are simply looking for professional advise to solve issues and concerns with your urban farm or garden.

We will provide a one-on-one session to advise you on best practices in garden and micro-farm management and answer pressing questions and concerns regarding soil quality, crop management, composting, and/or design questions. 

We work with you to improve your food production (out put) by building a sustainable ecosystem and finding joy, healing, and deep satisfaction in your relationship with the earth, her plants and all the little critters that creep and crawl on and under her skin.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: An experienced farmer with 5 or more years experience visits your garden site to discuss your issues, concerns and questions. We provide technical assistance and recommendations on a range of topics that may include soil fertility, garden design, raised bed placement, crop selection, planting schedule, organic pest management, compost trouble shorting, and irrigation. 

The session includes a 1-page summary of your issues and concerns and a checklist of recommendations to guide your independent follow-up work and interventions. The consultation may include a gardening demo and brief collaborative work-learn session to get your started. You will also receive handouts and links to relevant resources and information located on our web page.
